ILETC anticipates a vibrant semester of dialogue and progress this coming Fall 2014. On the docket so far, with details forthcoming, are:

• ACTFL OPI training workshops for language faculty, to be held on August 18-21;
• The Inaugural Roundtable on Heritage Language Education, scheduled for October 17 at LaGuardia Community College and organized by ILETC and LaGuardia Community College, which will feature a guest lecture by Kim Potowski followed by a panel of CUNY faculty specialized in the teaching of heritage languages.
